7 Weeks Pregnant

I am now 7 weeks pregnant and very anxious for things to start happening! I still don't feel pregnant though. Shaun keeps telling me that I am gaining a little weight around my midsection. Under these circumstances, I am SO glad to hear this. I cannot wait to grow a baby belly and gain a little weight to support a healthy baby!

Apparently this week we are growing a blueberry.

Baby's brain -- both hemispheres! -- is growing fast, generating about 100 new cells every minute. Arms and legs are emerging as joints start to form, and a permanent set of kidneys (baby's third!) is now in place.

Tomorrow we (baby and I) will be leaving for Switzerland for 2 weeks. This will be Baby HandS's first international trip. Cross your fingers that I remain morning sickness free while away from home!
