I am now 6 weeks pregnant!!! Our first doctor's appointment on August 17th still seems sooo far away. :(
Here is a tidbit of information about what is going on with Baby HandS.

Growing like crazy, and the size of a sweet pea, baby is starting to sprout eyes, ears, nose, cheeks and chin. Those little hands and feet- still webbed like paddles- might wiggle by week's end, the heart is beating (almost twice as fast as yours!), and blood is starting to circulate.
When reading books, magazines, and internet sites about what to expect during my 5th and 6th weeks of pregnancy, I've noticed they all start with the topic "How to cope with nausea and morning sickness". I am very fortunate to say that I have no nausea/morning sickness symptoms to report ***knock on wood***. I have actually been feeling great so far this pregnancy. Let's hope it stays this way!
Here is a picture of me taken at 6 weeks.
The only change I have noticed in my belly is the daily bloat I have been experiencing. In the morning my pant size is the same as it has always been. When I get home from work, I feel like I could use a pair of pants 1 or 2 sizes larger to accommodate my rounded lower abdomen. Late in the evening the bloat subsides and I am once again back to my normal size. This cycle of events repeats itself every day. I know blogging about bloat is not the most interesting topic, but it is the most interesting thing going on with my body right now!

You're very lucky if you don't get sick!! It only happened about 3 times for me from about 6 weeks to 12. I'm so happy for you both!!! Congrats again!
ReplyDeleteHey Heather....it will be so amazing to see what your body goes through. Every pregnancy was different for me...I will always remember the first time I felt Shaun flutter...we were in a snowstorm heading to Oregon via Crater lake. So precious!
