How Far Along? 24 weeks 1 day
How Big is Baby? At 24 weeks he weighs just over one pound and is 10.5 inches long, which is about the size of a football.
Physical Changes in Me: I've gained 1 pound in the last 2 weeks. On Saturday a patient asked if I was pregnant. That was a first! Later in the day two more patients asked. On Sunday, two more patients simply asked, "When are you due?!" And all these comments were when I was in my scrubs, which I think conceal my bump a little. I am showing to everyone, yeah! I love having a baby bump :) Here is what my patients were seeing:
How I'm Feeling: One week ago my back was still giving me problems, but it has lessened this week. I am also feeling off-balance this week. I definitely notice that my movements compensate for the extra weight up front. Otherwise I feel great. I even ran a 5k with Aria and Neven last weekend! The race breakdown: I jogged about 1.5 miles, super-slow-jogged 0.5 miles at Aria jogging speed, walked a half mile, and walked the rest of the way at Aria speed, with some stops to deal with tantrums, look at bugs, and pick some flowers :) The best part about never doing a 5k before?... Setting a PR. Our time was 48 minutes and 32 seconds.
Best Moment these Past 2 Weeks: Running the 5k with Neven on-board and having big sister participate. That was some excellent mom-daughter-son bonding time :)
Baby Purchases: I went to a HUGE consignment sale last weekend called Outrageous Outgrowns at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds. I bought tons of stuff for both Neven and Aria for only $150.00! My favorite purchases are:

Great shopping! I am continuously amazed that you're still able to run while pregnant- and with a 2 year old none-the-less. Way to go! I bet it makes you smile to hear your patients comment on your baby bump- hopefully they ask before touching. Haha. Love ya!
