On Thursday, July 9th, Shaun and I got final confirmation that we were going to have a baby! This is how we found out:
I tested in the evening on Wednesday, July 8th and got a verrrrrrry faint line. Deep down, I knew it had to be positive, but I wasn't completely sure. Shaun also did not believe it to be true. In retrospect, we now know that a line is a line on a pregnancy test no matter how faint it is! Can you see it...?!
Therefore, we decided to go to bed hopeful and to test the next morning with one of my fancy digital tests. 7am rolled around and Shaun and I quickly got out of bed. After waiting for only a minute, the test read "Pregnant"!
What was the first thing Shaun and I did? The early morning, nobody-else-is-watching, super giddy happy dance!!!
Thursday put me at 4 weeks pregnant, with an estimated due date of March 18th, 2010. We told all of our immediate family on Saturday. Shaun and I just couldn't keep this exciting news to ourselves. We are soooooooo excited and thrilled to be adding a baby HandS Guth to our family!

ReplyDeleteYou two will make amazing parents. I am soooo excited I've already gone and checked out two darling baby stork and baby boutique stores here in Boise and Babie R Us! Wow, there is so much cool stuff out there for babies and parents to be! Love you so much! All three of you!
