20 Weeks Pregnant

How Far Along?  20 weeks 0 days:  EXACTLY HALFWAY DONE!

How Big is Baby?  According to thebump.com, the baby should be approximately the size of a cantaloupe at 6.5 inches long and 10.6 ounces.  However, at my ultrasound last week (at 19w0d), Neven was measuring 7 inches long and 11 ounces.  He was estimated to be 19 weeks and 1 day old, which is only one day off of his predicted growth.  This is almost perfect, since ultrasounds have an error of +/-10 days.  Now I'm thinking thebump.com might be a little off, oh well.

Physical Changes in Me:  I've gained 2 pounds in the last 2 weeks.  I should be gaining a pound a week, so this was perfect!

I am in maternity and sweat/yoga pants full-time.  My belly also sticks out the bottom of some of my shorter shirts, so I've packed half of my shirts away for the next 6 months.  On this note, I've washed all my maternity shirts and began wearing them a few nights ago.  Some of them are still a little big, but soooo comfy.

I'm still getting comments "I don't even see a belly", but I assure you it is there... especially at night.  Shaun's mom even pointed out to me that my belly is nonexistent in the morning, but full-blown sticking out at night :)

I don't have 20 week belly pictures yet, because Shaun isn't here to take pictures of me.  I will have to set the timer on my camera and do it myself... just haven't done it yet.

How I'm Feeling:  I feel relatively good!  I've had a crazy busy week last week with family in town for Aria's 2nd birthday, so I've been more tired than usual.  But I blame the fatigue on the go-go-go of my schedule.  I still get dizzy if I stand for too long, and my doctor said this might stick around for another month.  The partial cure... drink, drink, and drink water!

A week and a half ago I really started having a hard time sleeping at night.  I can no longer sleep on my stomach, and I also cannot sleep on my back (risk of occluding my vena cava, which prevents blood from returning to my heart, thereby reducing blood flow to the fetus).  Hence, I unpacked my snoogle pillow (a pregnancy body pillow), and now I'm sleeping much better :)

Best Moment these Past 2 Weeks:  Obviously, finding out we are having a baby boy, and that he is perfectly healthy!  I did a happy dance in the ultrasound room after we found out, hehe.  Also, telling our family and friends our news :)

Baby Purchases:  Today I stopped at Buy Buy Baby and bought Neven his first set of new clothes.  See my previous post for pictures.
