Shaun and I had been overwhelmed with work, school, hockey, and everything else in the past 6 months, that we decided we needed a break from it all. Our goal was to find a tropical vacation spot where just the two of us could enjoy the sunshine and each other's company. We also wanted to have a relaxing vacation before Aria arrives, hence the term babymoon. Therefore, from December 13th to December 20th we found ourselves relaxing on the beach in Barbados!

Our routine everyday was something like this: wake up, lay out on the beach under the palm trees, go for an ocean swim/snorkel, lay out on the beach to dry off, eat lunch, relax on our balcony overlooking the ocean, take a nap, get dressed, take a crazy taxi ride out to dinner for Bajan cuisine, take another crazy taxi ride back to the hotel, and relax in our room until we got too tired to keep our eyes open. This was the perfect get-away-from-it-all vacation we had been needing.
I think Aria also enjoyed the warm weather, swimming in the ocean, and hanging out with her dad since she was a kicking machine the entire vacation. Here are a few shots we took while on our trip.
